Morning Brief — April 11, 2008

A new independent bookstore will be opening in Dallas suburb Plano late this summer.  Jerome Weeks of book/daddy offers some details.  (Dallas hasn’t had a general-interest independent store since Little Professor closed up shop a few years back.)


The New York Times reports that Air America host Randi Rhodes left / has been booted from the station after making rude comments about Hillary.  No word yet on who her replacement will be.


The Wall Street Journal unveiled its new quarterly magazine WSJ, slated for a September debut.  E&P reports.  So far, Bacon’s Online only has contact information for EIC Tina Gaudoin (who presumably is not a book contact).
