Use your airline miles to get free magazine subscriptions
If you’re like me, you have a few airline miles in a lot of frequent flyer programs — most of the time, not enough to get a free flight or even an upgrade. Some FF programs — Delta definitely and maybe some others — allow you to redeem these miles for magazine subscriptions. For the sake of variety, I pick magazines my publicity department doesn’t get. Unless I fall in love with a magazine, I usually won’t renew my subscription after a year, but that still gives me plenty of time to familiarize myself with the publication (and at least I don’t lose my miles).

Where can I get the airline miles for free magazine subscriptions. I found one site but was very limited as to the choices. I clicket on the pingback link that is with YEN’s comment. but it would not take me anywhere.
Once you’ve signed up for an airline’s frequent flyer program, they’ll send you information about various ways to redeem your miles. (I’ve never actually looked this up online — I’ve only ever responded to snail mail they’ve sent me with these types of offers.)
I envy anyone who has the time to read magazines! Give me more free trips and I might be able to read a mag during flight.
Heads up – the Wine Spectator stopped accepting miles for a subscription: http://kosherwinemusings.com/2009/03/08/wine-spectator-stops-miles-redemption. The deal was great while it lasted – major bummer.
